Christmas Lights At The Botanical Gardens, Birmingham

5th December 2017 by Candace 1 Comment

[REVIEW] There is something about Christmas lights that really means Christmas is on it’s way.  Last week I was invited along with Brum Bloggers to Birmingham Botanical Gardens to see their Christmas Lights trail.  The garden’s have all been lit up with stunning lights and along the way you may be lucky enough to see Santa.  At the entrance there are a couple of brightly lit Victorian rides with a couple of stalls selling hot food and drinks.

The gardens have been beautifully lit nad the trail is well marked for you to follow in the dark.

These middle eastern lamps strung up in the trees were so beautiful and the stars shining on the path leads the way.

There are beautiful photo opportunities throughout the trail.  One little bit of advice is to wrap up warm as the trail can take around an hour and this time of year it is rather nippy.  I’ll let you guess how many layers I am wearing here!

The Christmas Trail is open:

Wednesday 6 – Sunday 10 December
Wednesday 13 – Sunday 17 December
Monday 18th – Sunday 24th December
Tuesday 26 – Sunday 31 December
Monday 1 January

Prices start for £14 with a family ticket costing £40.  More information can be found here.
