The most important part of my morning routine is drinking tea. I just can’t face the world before I have consumed at least 5 buckets of tea.
To me tea is the best thing ever discovered. Legend says tea was discovered quite by accident over 5000 years ago. The Chinese Emperor Shen Nung was overthrown and was banished to a remote corner of Southern China. Due to poverty all he had to drink was hot water One day to his surprise a gust of wind blew some leaves from a nearby tree into his pot of boiling water. The Emperor enjoyed the infusion so much, that according to legend, he sat under the tree for the next 7 years drinking nothing but tea and naming it “Tai” which means Peace.
It wasn’t until 1606 that the first shipment of Chinese tea arrived in Europe. At first the residents of Amsterdam thought tea was an expensive novelty. However, tea soon became the most popular beverage in the country. The craze for tea in France was short lived. However, in England tea was accepted slowly at first but the love of tea by the English soon became a lasting relationship.
I just love tea. Very rarely do I drink from a cup and saucer. As lovely as tea in a nice china cup is, I just have to go with a huge, giant humongous china mug.
The bigger the mug the better. But by using a larger mug it doesn’t mean I have less mugs of tea. Well no, I just drink mug after mug all day long. My mornings usually look something like this:
Do you need buckets of tea to get yourself moving in a morning?
