I can honestly say March has flown by and I have been lucky to have a few things in my life that I love.  It was full of ups and full of downs.  These are the five things I’ve loved this month. I’ve loved: Pretty New Stationery  This month I’m putting this lovely new blog planner to good use. To put it to really good use I could do with another 6 hours a day. I’m sure you know what I mean.   I wouldn’t use this time to do things, to work but instead to rest. I’m shattered right… View Post

It’s blogging awards time again. This isn’t a blog post asking you to nominate me because why would you?  You need to have a voice, a strong voice that people enjoy to read. You need to know your audience and write about what you know. This is a question I’ve seen many bloggers ask especially as part of blogging tips posts.  Apparently we should know our audience and blog for them. I look at google analytics and realise so many people haven’t completed all their stats. As a result of this I get a lot of answers that aren’t helpful.… View Post

Is not always what you imagine. Sometimes behind that smile is pain. Really physical pain. Some days I said it. Not really the whole truth. Its not just limited to some days.  It happens everyday. Some good, not being able to walk days.  Others, just normal pain days. Pain shouldn’t be normal. But for me it is. Everyday. Struggling to walk pain. Struggling to move. Struggling to live life. I’m struggling to type this.  Every time a finger touches one of the keys on my keyboard, it hurts. Really hurts. I went to the toilet earlier.  I had to use… View Post

I don’t know about you but life just seems to be all go go go.  I’m a busy working mother with 2 kids.  I have a couple of businesses which take up a lot of my time. But every now and then I need to take a step back, relax and think of me.  Its times like this when I want to be pampered. An easy way of relaxing for me is having manicures. Pretty nails make me smile. Without polish my nails look awful because of too many years of taking nasty medications that have horrid side effects. Too… View Post

It really doesn’t seem like a month since I put together last months post about things I love. I had so many plans for February and I don’t think I’ve even scratched the surface of what I wanted to do. Candace’s Kitchen One thing I have managed to achieve is setting up my new cooking and baking blog. I’ve lived blogging about food the past few years and 20 months ago I started working on a foodie blog. Just like my main patenting and lifestyle blog there became a little issue when I moved from living by the sea in… View Post

Mothers Day is fast approaching and my children are wanting to know what I would like.  Quite frankly there isn’t really much I need but some relaxing time would be perfect.  Time to sit down, rest and drink tea.  Drink it by the bucket loads.  When drinking tea things are made even more perfect if they are accompanied by cake.  Who doesn’t love cake?   What is your ideal treat that you are hoping to receive this Mother’s Day? ** Baker Days who sell lovely personalised letter box cakes and We Are Tea who are specialist tea sellers very kindly gifted… View Post

Eye brows. They’re funny things really but get their shape wrong and you will know all about it. I’ll be honest I’m useless at getting a good shape and always have them professionally done. My preferred choice is threading. I think it gives a neater shape for me and I think it hurts less. I’ll let you in to a little secret. I’m not a natural blonde which means I have quite dark eye brows but the ends aren’t quite dark. This means they look quite uneven. I’m not a fan of drawn on slugs. I really don’t like this… View Post
