Brightening Life Up With The Help Of Cath Kidston

Cath Kidston.

Brightens my life.

The pretty quirky designs just make me smile.  It is so hard to believe how a brand can make me feel this way.

I think it’s very fair to say the weather has been a little grim these past few weeks in the UK. We haven’t exactly had a bright and cheery start to the year.  The country as a whole has been rained down on by repeated rain storms. Day after day the start of the year saw nothing but rain and very grey skies.  Sadly some parts of the country really have been affected so much by flooding with so many peoples lives being turned upside down by nature.

With grey skies all around I like to bring some colour in to my life. Something to brighten up the grey. Something to cheer me up and take my mind off all the grey that seems to be around us.   What could be better than a pretty plate of pretty coloured macaroons?  Sweet pretty little bites of happiness on a pretty plate that matches perfectly from one of my favourite British stores.  British stores are become a rarity.  This something that upsets me.  We should buy British, buy local.  Being a UK small business owner its something I am passionate about.

I like pretty things.  Pretty things make me smile.

Cath Kidston Plate

I think its safe to say I have a little obsession with Cath Kidston crockery.  Its so pretty and I just love their Stanley mugs.  If you hadn’t guessed I like a cup of tea.  Sometimes a large china mug is all that is required to put a smile on my face.

Can anything beat a plate of prettiness?

Cath Kidston Plate

This cute little tea plate just makes me smile.  It is part of Cath Kidston’s Sausage dog range aimed at younger Cath fans.

What is putting a smile on your face right now?

Oh I love it – how cute! It would brighten up any table wouldn’t it? Pickle always makes me smile – the innocence and curiosity of a three year old little boy 😀 Kaz x
