This month has been a strange one. Although September usually means a more structured time as school starts but this year it just doesn’t seem to have happened. My favourite things this month have been:
I was lucky to get a fee days away in Anglesey this month. Ice always loved Wales especially North Wales and s little stroll along thevWelsh Coastal Path was just what was needed. The views down on the bay and harbour were beautiful. The gorgeous weather was much appreciated.
Whilst walking through Debenhams I got side tracked on the Urban Decay stand. I adore their naked eye shadow palettes and if I’m honest I very rarely wear anything else now. But this time I was attracted to this pretty rose pink lipstick; Sheer Rapture. Makes a change from my normal neutral tone.
Visit To The Pie Factory
The purgatory is a local pub that specialised in traditional value for money pub food with a twist. As the name suggests the twist is eerything is a pie. Their main pie is a Desperate Dan pie; a 4lb beef stuff with vegetables top with puff pastry and puff pastry horns!
I decided on the hen pecked pie; a lovely chicken and mushroom puff pastry topped pie. The pie factory really is recommended by us if you are ever in the Black Country.
This month saw us meeting for a chat at Bourne and Co in Birmingham; a lovely cocktail bar. This little beauty is a Alacpulco daiquiri. It really was delicious! There really are s lovely group of bloggers in Bormingham and I’m happy to get to know some of them at these great meet ups.
Back to School
Think every parent jumped for joy! Happy to see both settled in their new school here and enjoying their GCSE choices.
