Things I Love (October 2016)

Life is just so hectic at the moment. Seems such a lot of things going on all at once and it feels like a never ending up hill journey trying to fit everything in that I need to do before I even fit in all the activities I’d like to do. Do you find thins to be the case at this time of year?  I seem to have just blinked and we are half way through the month.

I am to get these monthly posts up as early in the month as I can but its just not happened this month.

I was invited along to a blogger event at Ana Rocha Bar & Gallery in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham last month for a blogger event. During the day the gallery is a retro gallery full of quirky items but by night a little tapas and cocktail bar pops up in the middle of the gallery. The tapas was to die for and cocktails were spot on. Great food and drinks at competitive prices for the area. This is certainly a little gem in the middle of the jewellery Quarter which has s lovely reputation for a great night out if you are looking for independent bars and restaurants.

Anthony John Salon

Again this was  another blogger event I was invited too. Anthony John Salons stylish and modern hair salon near Lichfield and a lovely place if you are in need of a pamper.

I adore this time of year as I absolutely love pumpkin. Pumpkin pie and roasted pumpkin is a firm favourite.

We had great fun making Halloween treats. Really easy to make; marsh mellows dipped in white chocolate with added food colouring and then iced.

Changing Of The Seasons

I love how nature changes from a lush green to gorgeous orange tones. I always find the trees so pretty and so more interesting that their summer greens. I adore waking up to a little nip in the air; once the frost and colder weather comes in not such a fan!

What are you loving in your life this time of year?

A delightful post! I love the Halloween season because it helps me reconnect with my inner child that has to hide all the time. I love creating Halloween costumes and making treats with my cousins during this season. Your marshmallow monsters look so adorable! I actually don’t like pumpkins, especially pumpkin lattes.
