Things I Love (January 2016)

I know it’s not quite the end of the month but I thought I would show you some of the things that have been making me happy this month.  These are my five favourites for January, five things I love.

First up on my list of things I love has to be this pretty Cath Kidston sausage dog dessert plate.  I just love it to bits and there are some gorgeous other items in the sausage dog collection.  I just adore how the macaroons match the colours of the plate.  It was if they were made for each other.  This plate really brightens up my day.

Next up is this little beauty, Urban Decay Naked eye shadow palette.  I’ve owned their Naked 3 for sometime now but wanted some eye shadows a little darker.  The colours in the Naked 3 palette are all what I would describe rose gold colours.  The original Naked palette still has gold tones but they are richer and accompanied by darker browns as well as 2 grey shadows.  Just loving this palette right now and just need somewhere nice to go to show it off properly.

Before I moved to Wales I was lucky enough to own a house with a 32ft lounge.  This huge room had never been decorated as there was so much to do but last October I started work on the 12ft chimney breast.  Just love the teal and gold wallpaper.  Our current brown leather sofa will look fantastic but a little lost in the room.  Just love how this chair will help fill the space.

My fourth item on my things I love list this month are these lovely chunky Bugatti boots. I like shoes and boots. Reason I like them so much is because I’ve never felt a freak buying shoes.  I’m plus size when it comes to clothes. My bottom half is a 14/16 but thanks to being blessed up top as some people might say I need a 18/20 on my top half. This puts me in plus size clothes and society does make you feel worthless at times.

But when it comes to shoes, I’m in heaven. Nature decided to place all my waist round my middle and on my chest meaning legs and feet are super skinny.  I was lucky to bag a pair of these boots at a great price in the January sales.

The final item of my things I love this month is me. There are so many things in my life that are not positives, so many things wrong with my body that cause stress and impacts on my life in such a negative way. So much of an impact on daily activities that it would be so easy to hate my body, hate myself. In the past I have hated me, questioned what use I am to anyone. Seriously though why am I here.  However, I have learnt to love me.  I can honestly say I have never been as happy as I am now.  Life may be throwing nasty things at me right now but I’m happy and that’s all that matters.

Those are the things I love in January. Have you fell in love with anything this month?
