5 Things I Love (February 2017)

This month has been a little more productive blog wise and has been filled with more adventures than January was.  I really think hard work is paying off.  It’s certainly brought some new things in to my life like the first item on my list of things I am loving this month.

One of my blogging goad this year was to save up any money I made blogging and purchase a MacBook. This month I chased up a few invoices I was due and I purchased this little beauty. I am so happy with this purchase and wonder now why I didn’t get one before now. It’s so much quicker than my old laptop and means I can take myself off to a local coffee shop to work. This has two pluses; firstly it means I’m not distracted and secondly I get to drink some lovely hot chocolates whilst using someone’s else’s energy to keep warm.   Can’t beat that in my opinion!

Cath Kidston Goodies

This month I treated myself to a couple of things from the new Cath Kidston Spring collections. I have fell in love with this lovely duck range and adore the oversized cup and saucer.

Seasonal Flowers

I am loving filling my house with tulips and iris’. This is one thing I love about this time of year and tulips have to be my favourite flower.

Pretty Stationary

I’m just a sucker for pretty stationary. I love note books and pretty coloured pens. The fact that my handwriting is appalling is a completely different matter!

I’ve been enjoying making (and eating) shortbread this month. Recipe will be up on the blog soon. Recommended with a nice cup of tea, your feet up and snuggled under a blanket. Can’t go wrong.

What are you living right now?

Ohh! Well done on purchasing the Macbook! I dream of owning one…
I have been banned from shopping in Cath Kidston….hehehe Everything is so pretty.
I will look forward to seeing the shortbread recipe. I love the stuff. Making my own has to be cheaper than buying a box every week. x
