Christmas Gift Guide; Foodie Edition

I think it’s fair to say I am a foodie, always have been and always will be.  Because of this there are always a number of foodie things I would like for Christmas.  Here is a small selection of foodie gifts on my Christmas wish list this year:

Swan Retro Microwave And Mixer

I actually own this mixer and have had it a few months now and it’s fantastic value for money!  It comes with a number of blades and has been a great addition to my kitchen.  It has a great retro feel and the pink is perfect for the new pink and grey decor in my kitchen.  There are many other matching kitchen products available in the range (plus other colours) and I’ve got my eye on the matching microwave.

Sous Chef Chili Advent Calendar

I am a fan of added flavour to my food with herbs and spices and this chili calendar from Sous Chef won’t disappoint with 24 different chilies to try.  The calendar also includes a booklet telling you all about the chilies.

JML Copper Stone Frying Pans

Oh my these are amazing!  When JML approached me regarding these frying pans I never imagined they would be of such a great quality, even more so for the price.  The 20cm pan starts at £19.99 and the 28cm pan is only £29.99.  They are so sturdy, heavy based pans and can also be used in the oven.  I can honestly say these are the best frying pans I have ever used and I have tried many with much larger price tags than these.  They can’t be put in the dishwasher as you risk removing the copper colouring but they are so easy to clean as nothing sticks and all that’s needed is a quick wipe with a soapy cloth.  These are a must for anyone that cooks!

White Chocolate And Horseradish Spread From Hotel Chocolate

When I first saw this I’m pretty sure I was think the exact same thing you are but how wrong was I.  This is a gift perfect for the unusual foodie in your life.  It tastes amazing with smoked salmon on a sweet brioche roll.

Arthur Price Set Of Six Pastry Forks

I think it’s safe to say I like cake especially when it is part of an afternoon tea.  Sometimes I love to sit down with some finger sandwiches, scones, jam and clotted cream with some cake.  Cake always tastes better with a silver pastry fork and these ones from Arthur Price as so cute!

Cook Books

You can’t go wrong with a cook book or two for a foodie who loves to cook.  I’m loving Fortnum and Mason’s The Cook Book full of yummy dishes and plenty of cake!

Chutney, Pickles And Relishes

For the foodie in your life you can’t really go wrong with a selection of chutney, pickles and relishes to serve with cheese, cold meats and salads.

Springerle & Speculaas Biscuit Roller

This biscuit roller from Sous chef is so adorable!  I’ve been busy making some Christmas biscuits which I’ll be sharing with you in a few days time.

What are you buying the foodie i your life for Christmas?
