What’s Inside My Handbag

I absolutely love handbags.  I cannot remember the last time I didn’t use one.  I’m certainly not one of these women who put their purse and phone in their pockets and head on out for the day.  I just cannot go out without my handbag as I like to have things with me that I may need during the day.  I like to have things with me that I may not need.  What I’m trying to say is that I must have ‘stuff’ with me at all time when I leave the house.  Now my idea of what is important stuff that nobody can leave the house without having it in their handbag is proably quite different to other people ideas.  My children are now 11 and 13 therefore, I no longer need baby stuff in my handbag.  I’m sure all Mums remember the baby ‘stuff’ crammed in to our handbag.  You know, the baby wipes, the nappies, spare clothes, drink, food, toys, lets face it, you coud just have one toy, you needed an entire toy box of toys in your handbag.

I like to have a largish handbag as I am a collector of ‘stuff’. Random and pretty useless ‘stuff’. To prove that I am a liker of ‘stuff’ in my handbag right now I have:

Cath Kidston Handbag

Purse

iPhone

iPad

iPhone/iPad Charger

Filofax

Blogging Diary

Blogging Notebook

Railcard

Half a pack of polos

Various packs of tablets

3 loose polos

6 loose tablets

Lego Homer Simpson

63p in loose change

4 hair bands

2 x crochet hooks

6 pens (4 of which don’t work)

An elastic band

12 bus tickets

A paper mountain worth of receipts

3 lipsticks

Lip balm

Hand cream

Tissues

Wet Wipes

Am I the only one who feels the need to carry a large handbag around and fill it full of ‘stuff’?

Do you have random items lurking in the bottom of your handbag?

Eeee, please don’t make me admit what’s in my handbag…things go there to die and from time to time you’d even find a boiled egg. It’s just really not glamorous! Great post.

Thanks for linking up to #TheList xx
