Christmas is only a few short weeks away now and as part of my Blogmas series today I’m showing you a quick and easy Christmas craft that you can do with the children or grandchildren. Vision Direct are currently running a competition to win a £250 at Amazon voucher and all you need to do is make these cute little Christmas trees like I have here and then share them on social media. Vision direct have sent me a box filled with craft supplies plus a template which you can download from their website here to make your trees.
Will you need to do is cut out some Christmas trees and decorate them and then take a photograph and share them either on Facebook Twitter or Instagram using hashtags Christmas crafted and vision direct UK. This is what I did to create my festive Christmas trees.
Firstly I cut out the paper templates and then placed them onto some recycled card and drew round them and cut the temperature out.
I then spray-painted my trees with some silver spray (outside as a well ventalated area is needed). You could choose paint or stick some festive paper on. Make sure to cut down the dotted line at the top and bottom of trees as this is how you stop the two pieces slot together to make your standing Christmas tree. You need to make sure to cut up the bottom from one tree and on the top of the tree in order to push the two together.
I then stuck on my little bits of decorations with sticky dots. PVA glue works just as well sticking the pom-poms and those sequins onto the trees. Viola, you have your festive Christmas trees. All you now need to do is take a photograph and upload to social media using hashtags #Christmascrafted and #visiondirectUK.`
The competition closes on 17 December 2017 and winners will be notified on Wednesday the 20th of December. Good luck!
