Last week I was invited the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre to see the new renovations that have been undertaken.  The interiors have been beautifully renovated in a Great Gatsby feel and are truly stunning; dark greys, white and mustard tones truly bring the theatre to life. Upstairs there is the newly renovated Arthur’s bar which is sponsored by Arthur Price Cutlery a 5 generation local family business.  The bar also has a number of private drinks booths which can be used by parties during theatre performances for at the table service during the intervals.  They are beautifully lit and give that… View Post

My teenage daughter (13) absolutely adores flamingos.  Without a doubt they are her favourite animal.  She loves to visit Chester Zoo to watch them ‘strut’ their stuff.  They are such beautiful graceful animals.  when we moved back to the Midlands earlier this year, the room she was having was in need of redecorating.  One thing she wanted was flamingos! She adored their coral colour and came across these nail varnishes and loved the grey colour too. The decision was made. Her room was to be coral and grey. A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the renovations I am doing on our home. The room we started with was the bathroom. First job was to remove the old suite and fit the new one. The modern look of it really has changed the bathroom giving it a very modern feel. It’s also given me a great organisation answer for my make up. Now… View Post

I’ve not been blogging as much as I would like lately and that is because I have been busy with house renovations.  Having moved from Wales back to The Midlands I am busy renovating our 1960’s detached house.  I lucky to have quite a large house on today’s standards and both of my children have bedrooms big enough to fit double beds.  My son’s room is the smallest at 3 /14 m by 3 3/4 m,  At times I don’t think they know how lucky they are to have such spacious rooms. The first room we have started to tackle… View Post

Cath Kidston. Brightens my life. The pretty quirky designs just make me smile.  It is so hard to believe how a brand can make me feel this way. I think it’s very fair to say the weather has been a little grim these past few weeks in the UK. We haven’t exactly had a bright and cheery start to the year.  The country as a whole has been rained down on by repeated rain storms. Day after day the start of the year saw nothing but rain and very grey skies.  Sadly some parts of the country really have been… View Post
