In 12 days time HRH Prince Harry will be marrying Ms Meghan Markle. The wedding will take place st St Georges Chapel Windsor and will be televised. Personally I am looking forward to this and will be spending time with friends watching the wedding and tucking in to an tea party. To help celebrate I have written a week long email series with ideas for food and drink to serve at a tea party.
The email series will include recipes for sandwiches, sausage and chicken rolls, mini quiches, scones, cheesecakes, cupcakes and a cocktail and non alcoholic fruit punch.
I asked a few fellow bloggers what they would be doing on the day and this is what they had to say:
We are having a street party! Road closed! Very excited!!! Erica from the star whisperer
I’m going to my friends for a royal tea party and then we’re all watching the wedding together. Terri from the strawberry fountain
Windsor is just down the road from me in Maidenhead, but it sounds like it will be really complicated to go on the day with road closures etc. There is a big screen going up in one of our parks so I hope that the sun will shine, there will be bunting and my children will have some memories to look back on of the day! Jodie from maidenhead mum
It’s the day of my sponsored silence – I’m raising money for the Stroke Association- I’ll be watching but won’t be able to talk to anyone about it until the next day. Hayley from winging it with two boys
We are having a street party where we live. Fun for all the children and a great reason to bring the community together! Sophie from soph obsessed
I’m just staying at home but will be watching it all on the telly. I’ve always loved a royal wedding 😊 Kelly from the best version of kelly
