Last week I was very lucky to be invited along with Erica of 92 Three 30 for a Thai meal at cocktails at Siamais Thai Restaurant and Cocktail Bar. Siamais is located in Brindley Place which is just off Broad Street in Birmingham.  Brindley Place is full of bars and restaurants and is a lovely place to visit in the warmer weather when you can sit and eat outside.  Siamais is a modern looking bar with a multitude of bird cages hanging from the ceilings. Upon arrival we were shown to our table and our waiter talked to us about… View Post

I’m always looking for an easy to prepare meal which is tasty and filling. One of my families favourite beef meals in slow cooker beef stroganoff. This is a great recipe as I can start it before I go to work and its already when I return from home. Slow cooking the beef mans it is always tender and melts in the mouth. Really was a beautifully classic setting for afternoon tea. Upon arrival I was settled at my table and asked what type of tea I would like. I asked for English Breakfast… View Post

I’ve never been to Scotland before and although I am nowhere near feeling 100% I decided to just grab the bull by the horns as they say and jump right in. I’m in need of catching up on some afternoon teas in order to complete my afternoon tea challenge and decided I’d jump right in to the Edinburgh Afternoon Tea scene and partake in a few cullinery delights that Scotland has to offer. I was lucky enough to have 2 afternoon teas and 2 cream teas. I also sampled… View Post
